Carlo Acutis is a British-born Italian Catholic youth and  a young freelance amateur software computer enthusiast, database programmer and webmaster who spearheaded the documentation of  Eucharistic miracles around the world and cataloguing them onto a website, miracolieucaristici.org before his death from leukaemia.

He was a devote Catholic and dedicated his life to Catechism, music, philanthropy and technology. He was born in London, England, UK to a wealthy Italian parents Andrea Acutis and Antonia Salzano. His parents were based in London on business at that time. He was their only child. He was baptised on May 18, 1991 at Our lady of Dolours also known as Servite Church in Fulham road, Chelsea, London. His baptismal name is Carlo Maria Antonio. 

Carlo was a pet lover he has two cats, four dogs and many gold fish, He loved football, action films, Playstation and fictional character Pokemon.

He inspired Raejsh, a hindu who cleaned at his house, and was baptised in the catholic faith in London

In September 1991, he and his parents returned to Milan, Italy from London. In 1994 his family moved to a building on Via Arosto in Milan,  After four years, in 1995 he enters preschool, from elementary to middle school, he studied in the Institute of the Marcelline Sisters in Piazza Tommaseo, secondary education, he was taught by the Jesuits at the Leo XIII Classical Lyceum in Milan.

In June 16, 1998 he receive his first communion and prayed in the Eucharist in silence  at the Bernaga monastery. which is near Lecco, Italy. Since his first communion, he became a frequent communicant and religiously prayed and reflected in front of the tabernacle before and after mass.

In 2002, he started visiting Eucharistic miracles around the world with his parents. He documented all of them and the Catholic church recognized 136 of these miracles across five continents.

 

In 2005, he established a Eucharistic Miracle display online that would tour the world through his website.

At the age of 15, he died of chronic myeloid leukaemia while he was in a hospital in Monza, Italy on October 12, 2006 

On October 12, 2010 his mother Antonia, who was born in 1976, gave birth to a fraternal twins Francesca Acutis and Michele Acutis.

Carlo was raised as a normal boy in many ways, he was not so perfect but he had strong will and with this will he improved himself in many ways.  Acutis mother Antonia told National Catholic Register in February 2020. Carlo will say "What does it matter if you can win a thousand battles if you cannot win against your own corrupt passions? It doesn't matter. The real battle is within ourselves."

On October 10, 2020, he was beatified at the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Assisi, Italy. Cardinal Agosto Vallini presided on behalf of Pope Francis
